Steve is an exciting and versatile bass guitar and double bass player born in Sheffield UK sometime in the last Milllennium. Musical grounding in school/county orchestras and bands with tours in Denmark and The Netherlands. Development of skills in cover and function bands in UK and Europe then further at The Musicians' Institute, California, USA. Steve is a sought after bass player due his excellent sight reading and musical adaptability - he has completed a 2 years tour with the musical 'CATS' throughout UK and Europe [2006-2008 tour].

soul and jazz to show and folk. Emphasis on quality
of sound, groove and time keeping in both live
and recorded work
Double Bass:
All styles. Favourites are jazz - Latin - Rockabilly Slap.

Bass Guitar Tuition
From beginners to advanced in all styles and playing techniques.
Steve emphasises live performance skills in addition to music theory, reading and bass playing technique. In addition to extensive one-on-one tuition, Steve has taught the Rockschool curriculum to school groups and has been guest lecturer at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford.

Regularly featured on Sky TV in 2001 with Ten Foot Tall and playing at original live venues: The Hope & Anchor, Dublin Castle, Riverside Bar. The Cobdon CLub, Corks Wine Bar, Kashmir Klub etc. With Lloyd at 2002 London Mardi Gras.

Private and corporate functions at Mezzo, Meridien Waldorf Hotel, Hilton Park Lane, Grovenor House Hotel. HMS Ark Royal etc. with Top London function and tribute bands...... Denny Wise Band, Jack Hawkins Band, The American Drifters, La Vida Santana, Freespirit, Showbands and pit orchestras on cruise ships, touring shows such as Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and pantomimes for Qdos Entertainment, Jazz FM Summer Festival 2003 with the Val Kelly jazz Quartet...

Since 2006 touring with the musicals 'CATS' and ‘FAME’ throughout the UK and Europe. Now available for gigs and tuition in the Northwest and Midlands.
